JCI is honored to have furthered its strategic partnership with the International Chamber of Commerce (ICC) during a significant day of high-level engagement and strategic planning at the ICC Headquarters in Paris on January 14, 2026. Led by JCI Secretary General Elvin Teo, the delegation worked closely with Julian Kassum, ICC Deputy Secretary General, to align on the strategic context and priority collaboration areas for 2026.
The delegation included JCI Partnerships Director Nathalia Cardenas, and was joined by observers from JCI France: President Vianney Copleutre, International Delegate Mohamed Nasri, and Executive Director Alexandra Poteau. This pivotal meeting served as a space for both organizations to review shared strategic objectives and finalize the 2026 Plan of Action. The discussion focused on establishing clear milestones and ensuring the seamless execution of this year’s shared priorities.
Strategic Alignment: A Roadmap for Collective Impact
JCI remains dedicated to advancing global economic development through direct, collaborative engagement with key ICC departments. These technical sessions allowed for a deeper understanding of how each specialized unit can support joint initiatives, ensuring a unified execution of the 2026 strategic priorities.
These conversations centered on the vital role of cross-sector partnerships in addressing the evolving challenges of the global business community. This engagement underscored the importance of bridging JCI’s entrepreneurial energy with the ICC’s global expertise to foster a more resilient and inclusive economic future.
A Shared Vision for Global Entrepreneurship
The partnership between JCI and ICC is built on a long-standing, mutual commitment to empowering the next generation of leaders. This collaborative journey continues through joint efforts across several key focus areas, including:
The JCI in Business (JIB) Program
2026 JCI Commissions and Global Events
Policy and Advocacy Engagements
National Level Collaboration between JCI National Organizations and ICC National Committees
Support through the ICC Center of Entrepreneurship (CoE) and the World Chambers Federation (WCF)
This strengthened cooperation reinforces our shared belief that impactful leadership is best achieved through collective action and a forward-thinking, inclusive approach.
