Become a UN-Recognized Young Leader for the SDGs – Applications Now Open!

We’re excited to share a unique opportunity for young leaders within the JCI community!

In partnership with the United Nations Youth Office, we invite you to apply for the next cohort of 17 Young Leaders for the Sustainable Development Goals (SDGs).

What Is the Young Leaders for the SDGs Program?

Every two years, the UN Youth Office recognizes 17 outstanding young leaders (ages 15 to 35) from around the world for their bold action, creativity, and leadership in advancing the SDGs.

These individuals are more than inspiring voices – they are implementing practical solutions to global challenges and making a real impact in their communities.

Being selected as a Young Leader for the SDGs is a prestigious acknowledgment by the United Nations, celebrating those who are contributing meaningfully toward achieving the 2030 Agenda.

What’s in It for Young Leaders?

Over the two-year term, selected Young Leaders will:

  • Be recognized globally by the United Nations

  • Engage in advocacy efforts and UN events

  • Amplify their initiatives through a network of global partners

  • Inspire other young people to take action for the SDGs
