JCI and ICC Collaborate on Key Global Initiatives

The recent visit by a JCI delegation to the International Chamber of Commerce (ICC) Headquarters in Paris focused on enhancing collaboration between the two organizations. Discussions covered JCI’s efforts to proclaim July 10th as International Human Duties Day, the expansion of the JCI in Business (JIB) initiative by providing business matching opportunities between our networks, and ICC’s  continued  support of entrepreneurship through the Creative Young Entrepreneurs (CYE) competition.

The meeting also explored future collaboration opportunities, particularly our JCI RISE program, which focuses on 3 main pillars: Sustaining and rebuilding economies, workforce motivation, and mental health and well-being, aligned with key Sustainable Development Goals. Additionally, we discussed ways to strengthen collaboration and engagement at local and national levels, as well as opportunities for events and training for our members with a detailed action plan for 2025.

The meeting was attended by Julian Kassum, Deputy Secretary General of the ICC, François Georges, Special Advisor to the Secretary General of ICC for Francophone Africa and Stéphanie Vieilledent, Head of Chamber Relations along with JCI President Kaveen Kumar Kumaravel and his spouse, JCI Secretary General Kevin Hin, JCI Chief Executive Assistant to the President Achille Sonehekpon and representatives from JCI France.
